'Serendib Delights' meals are specially curated for Economy Class passengers who wish to purchase their preferred meals in advance (48hrs before departure). This service is available only on flights operated by SriLankan Airlines with confirmed tickets starting with 603. Pre-purchasing your meal will automatically replace the standard meal given on-board.
How can I pre-order a meal?
Your preferred meal can be purchased through www.Srilankan.com - Pre order your meals, SriLankan airlines ticket offices, nearest travel agent or contacting our 24 x7 contact center on +94 197331979.
When should I pre-order my meal?
You have to pre-purchase the “Serendib Delights” meal at least 48hrs before departure. This service is not available for ordering within 48hrs of departure and the standard meal will be provided in such situations.
Are “Serendib Delights” pre-order meals refundable?
The meal is only refundable in case of an involuntary change due to flight disruption, aircraft change or cancellations due to operational reasons and if you are not served with the pre-ordered special meal, to process the refund, please contact our SriLankan Airlines offices or your respective Travel Agent. Please check the ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS for more information.
How can I get the refund if the flight is cancelled/disrupted?
You must contact the point of purchase for the refund.
For purchases made through SriLankan Airlines ticket offices, please contact or visit the relevant office.
For purchases made by contacting our call center, please write to reservations@srilankan.com or contact us on +94 197331979.
And for pre-order meals purchased through your Travel Agent, please contact the respective Travel Agent.
What happens to the pre-ordered meal if I change the original travel itinerary?
You can only change the date of your travel itinerary and meal reservation 48hrs before departure on the same sector, the new travel date must not be within 48hrs of departure.
Can I pre-order meals for multiple sectors included in my booking?
Yes, you can pre-order meals for multiple sectors, the available destinations are listed on the website. The pre-order meal must be purchased before 48hrs of departure. This service is not available on codeshare, interline flights operated by partner and other airlines.
What happens to my complementary meal after purchasing the pre-order chargeable meal?
The complementary meal will be replaced by the purchased pre-order chargeable meal.
How do I know if my pre-order chargeable meal request was successful?
After successfully placing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail notification from us.
What should I do if I change my seat voluntarily and have a pre-order chargeable meal request on a SriLankan Airlines flight?
You are required to inform our crew members of the special meal request and the new seat number prior to meal service if you change your seat voluntarily.
The meal charge will not be refunded if you fail to inform the crew of the voluntary seat change.
