For Your Comfort

Follow these simple tips to make sure that your journey is a hassle-free and comfortable one.

Try some light exercises. For example, go for a brisk walk. If you can't sleep after arrival at your destination, try doing some reading. It generally takes the body's biological clock approximately one day to adjust per time zone crossed.

Assistance for passengers with reduced mobility

If you need a wheelchair to help you through the airport, please request at the time of making your booking so that we may endeavour to provide this service.

Visually impaired or hearing impaired passengers

If you require meet-and-assist service or if you need to be guided to or from the aircraft, please notify the booking agent at the time of making your reservation.

Safety First

While on flight, SriLankan Airlines suggests that you keep your seat belt fastened at all times when you are seated - even when the 'fasten seat belt' sign is switched off. The safety card which demonstrates the emergency procedures is located in the seat pocket. It is advisable for you to go through it and familiarize yourself with the aircraft's safety features. “Mobile phones are not permitted to be used on ground while the aircraft is refuelling and once the doors are closed, even on flight mode.”

Adjust your body clock

It is important to consider your body's natural biological clock. To avoid the common symptoms of sleeplessness, tiredness, loss of appetite or appetite at odd hours, we recommend that, for your next flight, you get a good nights rest beforehand.
