Did you know that for bookings made on Srilankan.com you can get a full refund without any cancellation penalties if you cancel your booking within 24 hours?
When you book on Srilankan.com you get more flexibility, unlike any other place. Our 24 hour cancellation facility is available for any booking made on Srilankan.com with credit or debit cards.


Can I do a 24-hour cancellation for my booking?

Yes:

  • If your booking is within 24hrs from your time of booking, you are eligible for a penalty-free cancellation.
  • This facility is available only for bookings where the first flight departure is at least 72hrs from the time of booking.

What you need to do
  • Simply enter your last name and Booking reference and submit!
  • Do not use the standard refund form for the 24-hour cancelation request.

Important information
  • If you wish to do a change to your booking instead of a cancellation, please use our Manage My Booking feature. For most bookings made on srilankan.com the first date change is free.
  • Please do not use the refund request form if you intend to do a cancellation within 24 hours using this feature. If the refund request form is submitted to us for the 24-hour cancellation, regular refund penalties and processing time will apply.
  • If the 24 hour cancellation request has been submitted after 24 hours of making the booking, relevant penalties will apply.
  • All other refund requests should be submitted via the online refund request form and will be subjected to standard refund penalties.
  • For following types of bookings this feature is not available,
    • Pay in Cash
    • Time to think bookings
    • FlySmiles redemption
